Color'Peps Oil Pastels

This review is on Maped's ColorPeps Oil Pastels
I am reviewing the 24 pack but they also come in a 12 pack

As you can see the colors are really nice and bright. The variety of colors was good and I love the size of them. They are 3x bigger than most "student-grade" oil pastels and better quality than Pentel. They are probably middle-range soft and fairly waxy but definitely a good product

I tried the Color'peps Oil Pastels with Neocolor II crayons. I did the front 3 flowers completely in the oil pastel then did the background flowers & colors in Neocolor II. Then I added oil pastels again over the neocolor II. As you can see from the red flower in particular they blend quite well and can be used in several layers. A good quality pastel especially for the price

Pros: inexpensive, good range of colors, soft, large size, blend well
Cons: somewhat waxy, only come in 12 or 24 pack

They can be purchased on www.amazon.com , www.dickblick.com , www.macphersonart.com and www.c2f.com
