This review is on Interational Arrival's Lil' Poster Paint Pods
These are cute little containers of poster paint. They come in 2 different sets- the Glitter & Neon (which is what I'm reviewing) and a set of 12 basic colors
They come in a nice little plastic case complete with a bristle brush and 12 individual containers of paint.
The containers are ADORABLE and I believe that they can be reused once you use them up. I think they could be reused for a lot of different things, more paint, beads, etc
The colors are bright and water-soluble. They are semi-transparent and nicely pigmented. I love the glitter paints in particular
Here's a better photo of how sparkly they are. Although I don't believe they are lightfast they would work great for mixed media and art journaling.
I sketched the rabbit at first with Micron pen and Rainy Dayz gel crayons (also by International Arrivals). Then I used the paint pods over the top of them. The more you dilute them with water the less intense the colors are . They dry fast, but not as fast as acrylics so you can blend them more easily. Overall a fun product to play with
Pros: awesome containers, bright colors, lots of sparkle, good value, blend nicely
Cons: sparkles get everywhere, limited color selection,
They can be purchased at www.amazon.com and http://www.intlarrivals.com/
