Maped Plasticlean

This review is on Maped's Color'peps Plasticlean Crayons

The Plasticlean Crayons come in a 12 or 24 pack and are plastic crayons that come in a unique shape and a great assortment of colors.

These crayons are awesome in that they are easily sharpened to a fine point and the larger flat ends can be used for shading large areas easily.

As you can see the colors are very bright and don't have the greasy appearance of wax crayons. Instead they appear more like colored pencils.

I sketched this bird using only the Plasticlean and was happy about the fine details I was able to achieve. Another thing I loved was the way that they blended. The blue layered on top of the yellow made a really nice shade of green. I was able to do at least five or six layers on top of each other before they wouldn't blend anymore.
The only thing I don't like about these is that like a lot of crayons they break in half pretty easily.

So to sum it all up...

Pros: great color selection, blends easily, unique shape that helps to shade large areas, reasonably priced for the quality
Cons: breaks easily, hard to find in stores

Overall a good and fun product for kids & adults alike.
Plasticlean crayons can be purchased on www.amazon.com , www.macphersonart.com and www.c2f.com
